The Go Global Acceleration program is a six-month initiative designed for aspiring entrepreneurs or startups aiming to establish their global headquarters in Canada.


For individuals in the ideation phase, this initiative provides a chance to refine your idea while gaining insights into Canadian business operations. For established companies, we offer tailored support throughout your expansion journey. Whether you’re in the process of transforming your idea into a tangible product or looking to scale your traction-gaining business, the Go Global program is the next step.

Note: This program is independent of any immigration processes.

Criteria

  • Operating a tech-based company.
  • Founders (at least one) should be located in Canada.
  • Coachable and collaborative team
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
  • Have sufficient funds to start and grow a company in Canada.

Criteria

  • 1:1 meetings with business coaches, industry experts assigned and dedicated support from the Global Startups team. 
  • Support with incorporation, business plan, marketing and sales strategy as well as guidance on how to search for grants.
  • Customer discovery interviews for your company.  
  • Business-level proficiency in English.
  • Virtual and hybrid participation in the program.

What to expect

  • 1:1 meetings with business coaches, industry experts assigned and dedicated support from the Global Startups team.
  • Support with talent acquisition and team building, accounting, accounting, corporate taxes, and sales growth in North America, as well as guidance to obtain investment.
  • Customer discovery interviews for your company.
  • Virtual and hybrid participation in the program.

What should you consider before starting your application?

  1. Ensure that you meet the specified criteria for this program.
  2. The program is conducted in English, so participants must have proficiency in business English to apply.
  3. This program is part of the June Cohort.
  4. The program fee is per company, covering up to five co-founders.
